CASULO Electric Folding Treadmill [2023 Updated ]

The CASULO Electric Folding Treadmill portability is one of its most appealing characteristics.

The machine has a fold-flat construction, which allows the side arm grips on the two upright bars to fold down over the deck.

As a result, the package is relatively light, and the storage options are excellent. If there is at least a 10-inch clearance under the bed, you can store it there (25 cm).

Also, the front of the machine has two-foot stabilizers that fold up so it can be stored vertically.

The treadmill isn’t too big when the frame is unfolded and ready for exercise. It does, however, take up around 65′′L x 25′′W (165 x 65 cm) of floor area.

Also, ensure at least two feet of space on each side of the deck and at least three feet of support behind the machine for safe use and access.

The CASULO Electric Folding Treadmill is not exactly lightweight, despite its thin design. It has a net weight of around 94.8 lbs (43 kg).

As a result, two people should carry the bundled unit. Once the treadmill is out of the box, it is easy for one person to move it.

Its front base has two little wheels that make it easier to move about. When set up for exercise, the treadmill has a low center of gravity since most of the machine’s weight is packed into its deck. As a result, it provides exceptional stability.

The machine’s structure, of course, is composed of steel. I used rectangular tubing for the deck structure and the two upright bars, which are covered with a corrosion-resistant paint finish.

The console dashboard, the motor cover, and a few other covers are made of tough thermoplastic.

Construction and running surface of the deck

The CASULO Electric Folding Treadmill has a good running surface for a little treadmill. It measures 49.2′′ (125 cm) in length and 16.9′′ (43 cm) in width.

As a result, it should be able to accommodate people up to 6’0″ (183 cm) in height for all workouts or even taller if simply used for walking. They recommend the deck for users weighing up to 264 pounds (120 kg).

The machine’s belt has several layers, with the top layer made of rubber for better grip. The actual diameter of the rollers that keep the belt moving is unknown.

However, they include high-quality ball bearings to provide a smooth belt motion. The running platform’s side coverings have a textured surface for better foot stability.

They installed silkworm shock-absorption Absorption Technology on the treadmill’s deck. Six high-density foam stabilizers also serve as shock absorbers that support the machine’s base.

As a result, the machine should make walking, jogging, or running more pleasant because it lessens the impact on your knees and ankles.

There is no inclination system on the CASULO Electric Folding Treadmill. The running platform is completely horizontal when the machine is positioned for exercise.

The deck is also somewhat narrow, so the step-up height is only about 4 inches (10 cm). As a result, you shouldn’t have any concerns concerning ceiling height.

Motor for driving

The CASULO Electric Folding Treadmill has a 3.0 HP (peak power) motor and is an electric treadmill.

It has a speed range of 0.6 to 8.7 mph and keeps the belt moving throughout long workouts, even if the user is close to the maximum weight capacity of 264 lbs (120 kg).

It appears to have a power cord that connects to the machine’s front base part. An On/Off switch is next to the power cord’s connector.

I adjusted the speed in 0.1 kph increments. As a result, the transition from one level to the next is seamless, with no jerks or abrupt changes, allowing you to adjust your pace.

There are no quick selection keys for specific speed levels on the console.

We can regard this as a disadvantage because increasing the speed to the highest settings takes a long time. The speed change buttons serve a dual purpose.

A brief press increases the speed by 0.1 kph, but pressing and holding the button increases the speed even further.

The treadmill also has a feature that lets you quickly switch between walking speed and the speed you were using before. This is useful for interval exercises.

The motor is relatively quiet. It doesn’t make a lot of noise when used, but your running cadence may make more or less noise depending on your weight, jogging technique, floor material, and other factors.

Console

The CASULO Electric Folding Treadmill comes with a straightforward console. It has a three-window LED display that shows speed, time, and calories/distance/pulse (from left to right).

The speed and distance are displayed in kph and kilometres, respectively. The console does not allow you to change the units to English.

As a result, the top speed is 14 kph (equivalent to approximately 8.7 MPH).

The console has two metal sensors on each side of the display that can read pulses. If you want the console to read your vibration, you can hang on to it.

Unfortunately, a wireless HR transmitter or Bluetooth device cannot be used to read your pulse on the console.

As a result, the only way to have your pulse checked is to hold on to the built-in sensors.

The console does not have its fitness routines, but it has Bluetooth built-in.

As a result, you can connect it to your smartphone using the FitShow App, which keeps track of your activity history and includes functions such as workout objectives and programs.

You can regulate the treadmill’s speed from your phone if you sync it with the treadmill.

The console lacks features such as built-in speakers and an exercise fan. The machine does, however, come with a device holder.

They may connect this to the console’s top and use it as a stand for their phone or tablet.

Installation and upkeep

To get it started, you must unbox it, unfold it, secure the upright bars and armrests in a usable position, plug it in, switch it on, and connect the safety key.

The instructions explain how to oil the belt and how often to do so, depending on how frequently the treadmill is used.

They also supplied a lubrication bottle. Apart from that, you must keep the machine clean, especially the belt, to avoid any debris being stuck in the motor.
