If you look at the vast selection of different treadmills and want to buy a best mid range treadmill.
You are probably asking yourself which of these treadmills suits you. Within this post, I am trying to give you an answer to the question.
Before doing so, however, you should know how much does a treadmill weighs and which treadmill is right for you?
According to the description, it has 110kg. I am 145kg, and I have to say that it can withstand this weight.
However, with such loads, unpleasant squeaking noises arise that you have to hide. Otherwise, you won’t be able to stand it for long.
I also suspect that the incline setting keeps giving way. But one shouldn’t expect much for the money.
To find out which treadmill suits you, you first have to answer a few questions.
84″ x 35.5″ x 58″
73" x 36" x 54"
84″ x 35.5″ x 58″
84.5" x 38.5" x 54.7"
35"× 27.6"× 54.7"
Which training should be carried out with the treadmill?
A treadmill is very diverse and offers various training options. Depending on the training goal, a different treadmill may be recommended.
#1: Muscle building training
When running on a treadmill, the leg muscles are stressed.
If you attach importance to building this, a mechanical treadmill is recommended, which is set in motion by muscle strength.
#2: Easy running training
Easy running training refers to training that is carried out for fitness reasons. It can either be about reaching a certain fitness level or doing fat loss training.
With light running a practice, you train at a lower speed and with shorter steps. The size of the treadmill is, therefore, not that important.
The treadmill’s performance does not have to be as high as with a treadmill for intensive training.
However, if a runner’s body weight is over 100 kg, consider using a treadmill with a motor with more power.
#3: Intensive running training
The intensive running training is running training to participate in a marathon or similar.
Due to the long steps and higher speed, you need a correspondingly larger treadmill with more power for intensive running training.
Also, the treadmill should have an automatic incline function.
How much does a treadmill weigh? Not only your body weight plays a role, but also the importance of the treadmill.
This should be at least 90 kg during intensive running training.
Because of this relatively high weight, the treadmill is stable and can, therefore, cope with higher speeds without problems.
The importance of the treadmill is not so crucial for occasional jogging or walking. During this training, the treadmill can also weigh less.
The tread is interesting in terms of aspects. This should be big enough for all runners who use the treadmill.
For intensive running, this should be a little longer and wider. A size of 140 x 40 cm should have a running surface, at least for intensive running training.
Depending on the size of the runners, this should also be a little larger. No tread is too large.
For intensive running training, the continuous output of the treadmill should be approximately 2.5 HP.
This performance enables the treadmill to reach higher speeds and does not wear out as quickly.
For more natural running training and a durable treadmill, the continuous output should be 2 HP.
The height change should be electrically adjustable for both intensive and light running training.
This allows the runner to change the height comfortably while running.
With light running a practice, it is not so important how many levels there are in the change.
Electronic height change is not so necessary for muscle building training.
There are some treadmills here that allow you to change the height manually. This is enough.
Especially during intensive running training, where the running time is sometimes a little longer, it is essential that the treadmill has shock absorption.
This reduces the stress on the joints.
Even for light training, it makes sense if the treadmill has shock absorption. This ultimately reduces the risk of injury.
How often is the treadmill used (by you and others)?
The frequency with which I used the treadmill plays an important role.
If I used frequently the treadmill and by many people, it should be able to withstand this strain.
A high continuous output of the motor can serve as a guide. With frequent use, this should be as high as possible.
Also, the treadmill should be processed accordingly. Treadmills that are used frequently are in the mid-high to high price range.
Height/weight of the runners
The size and weight of the runners who use the treadmill must also be considered.
All treadmills have a maximum load capacity that should not be exceeded. Before buying a treadmill, make sure that it is.
It is best if there is a difference of approx. 10 – 20 kg between the weight of the runner and the load capacity of the treadmill.
The height of the runners is unusual because the tread should be more significant for more extensive and faster runners.
The bigger a runner is, the bigger his steps are. From a height of 180 cm, the treadmill should have a thread length of 140 cm or more.
The tread’s width is for safety when running and should be approx—40 cm for larger runners.
Another point is the question of the budget. How much are you willing to spend on a treadmill?
In case of frequent use, you will have no choice but to choose one treadmill from the upper price segment.
Someone process accordingly and design these treadmills for everyday use.
However, if the treadmill is only used occasionally, there are treadmills of the different price ranges.
Now it is essential to know what the treadmill should be able to do. The price increases depending on the variety of functions.
If you want to get something from a treadmill for a long time, you should instead invest a little more money.
I hope I could show you which treadmills help you achieve your training goal.
