Outroad has released several treadmills in 2019. One of them is the SLFTRD20.
It’s a less expensive and lighter version of the Outroad 2 in 1 Electric Folding Treadmill , although it’s missing a few features.
It features fewer fitness routines, no music system, and no USB port, for example, and its engine is less powerful. Bluetooth communication is still available.

Construction of the framework
The Outroad 2 in 1 Electric Folding Treadmill is made of a lightweight material. It only weighs about 60 lbs when all the parts are put together (27.2 kg).
As a result, one person can only transport and build it. Plus, once it’s fully assembled, it’ll be much easier to move thanks to the transport wheels on the front base frame.
Steel tubing is used to form the machine’s frame, which includes oval, cylindrical, and rectangular bars.
A chip-resistant and rust-resistant paint finish applies to all steel bars. The chosen color is black.
In addition, the treadmill’s structure includes various pieces made of durable thermoplastic material.
The coverings for the side rails, the motor cover, and the console dashboard are among the most prominent.
The treadmill isn’t too big when it’s fully constructed. Its footprint is approximately 50.8′′ x 24′′ (100 x 61 cm), with the top of the console reaching around 49.2′′ (125 cm) above floor level.
However, for ease of access and safe use, provide at least two feet of clearance on each side of the treadmill and at least three feet in the back.
The Outroad 2 in 1 Electric Folding Treadmill, like most other light-capacity treadmills designed for home usage, has a folding frame.
It has a foldable deck that saves space. The folded measurements of the unit are 25.2′′L x 24′′W x 49.2′′H. (64L x 61W x 125H cm).
In order to avoid damage, the folding mechanism uses a hydraulic cylinder to progressively unfold the deck.
The incline of the deck and the building of the deck
The Outroad 2 in 1 Electric Folding Treadmill doesn’t have a very large work surface. Its belt is 39.3′′L x 15.7′′W. (100 x 40 cm).
However, because it is a walking treadmill designed for home use, it should be able to accommodate most users for at least walking workouts.
The machine’s inside deck board is also quite sturdy; the maximum user weight limit is 265 lbs (120 kg).
The belt has several layers. It has a rubberized top layer for a better grip.
For a smooth action, they equipped the internal rollers with high-grade ball bearings.
Someone also crowned them to help the belt last longer.
The treadmill’s surface lacks the substantial cushioning found on other, more expensive treadmills.
The deck has several slight shock absorbing devices that are hidden by the two side rail covers. The deck board has some give to it as well.
As a result, walking or jogging on our Outroad 2 in 1 Electric Folding Treadmill is gentler on your joints.
The inclination system of the unit comprises two movable “feet” mounted to the back of the deck. Each of them has three change positions.
A detachable metallic pin can secure them in the desired place.
It’s worth noting, though, that when the rear feet’ pins are placed to the highest position, the deck isn’t precisely horizontal.
Although this shouldn’t have a significant impact on your training, it makes the ride a little more tough.
When the rear stabilizers are unfurled, the deck step-up height is approximately 6.5′′ (17 cm) (or locked in the highest position).
As a result, it’s best to use the treadmill in a room with a ceiling at least 10 inches (25 cm) higher than your own.
Motor for driving
The Outroad 2 in 1 Electric Folding Treadmill is a home treadmill suited for walking and light jogging.
As a result, it lacks the super-powerful engine seen in commercial-grade treadmills, or at least those designed for running.
For motion stability, it includes a 1.0 HP motor with a compact flywheel.
The unit’s motor has a speed range of 0.6 to 6.0 miles per hour. You can easily change your pace because the speed change increments are 0.1 MPH.
The console has controls for adjusting the speed gradually as well as rapid selections of 2 MPH, 3 MPH, 4 MPH, 5 MPH, and 6 MPH.
The console also contains many pre-programmed workout routines that, if selected, automatically change the speed.
The console programs employ 0.5 MPH increments for speed adjustments. The changeover, though, is still rather seamless, so you’ll have plenty of time to change your pace.
You won’t have to worry about excessive electricity bills because the treadmill has a light-capacity motor.
The motor produces very little noise. However, depending on your running form, footwear, weight, and other factors, your cadence can still be heard, especially when using the highest speed setting.
Console
The Outroad 2 in 1 Electric Folding Treadmill comes with a console that has a good number of features. For starters, it sports an LCD panel with a blue LED lighting for easier reading.
Time, distance, speed, calories burned, and heart rate are all tracked. I showed the distance in kilometers, while they show the speed in MPH.
Someone solely based on the pulse reading feature on grip contact.
As a result, the console can only detect your pulse if you hold on to the metallic sensors included inside the machine’s side grips. A wireless transmitter cannot read your pulse.
On the console, there are 12 pre-programmed programs. On each side of the display, they have their segment grids inscribed on the console.
They adjust the speed in 0.5 MPH increments. They come in a variety of layouts; some provide an interval workout, while others progressively raise and decrease the speed, while some have a more random plan.
There’s also the option of setting time and distance targets for your training.
The FitShow app for Android and iOS is compatible with the console, which includes Bluetooth connectivity.
Once you’ve downloaded and installed the app, the treadmill will communicate your workout data to it, allowing you to track your progress, check your workout history, share it on social media, and so on.
Although the console unit lacks speakers and a workout fan, it includes a smartphone holder.
This is a lengthy shelf beneath the show. On each side of the display, there are two huge bottle/device trays on the console dashboard.
Installation and upkeep
The deck of the machine, which includes the belt, engine, and inclination parts, is pre-assembled.
Only the machine’s two upright bars, handlebars, and console need to be connected. It shouldn’t take you over 30 minutes to do this task.
All the essential tools are included, and the handbook includes detailed directions for assembly.
Deck lubrication is required after the first 25 hours of usage and then every 50 hours of use for maintenance. The machine comes with a bottle of lubricant.
Aside from that, it’s a good idea to keep the machine clean, especially the belt, and to check for loose bolts and parts regularly.
